Employee-Organization Relationships

Employee-Organization Relationships
There are many factors that affect the relationship between healthcare workers and the organizations that they work for. Such like factors include organizational factors that influence the satisfaction of the workers, their safety, and health as well their general wellbeing at the work place. The most significant of this is the issue of the working environment.  From the research that has been conducted in the past, it has been identified that safety concerns affected by the physical work environment and the organization provide evidence of direct positive and adverse effects as far as performance is concerned, and also suggest indirect effect on the patient care (Coxx, 2013). This means that if the concerns of the healthcare workers are not addressed in good time, it can have some impact on their service delivery on the patients, as well as the organization at large. I believe that the most important factor is the working environment. It is important for the organization to make sure that it is providing a good environment that can be supportive to better and quality rendering of services.
Basing on the above discussion, HCA Inc has put programs and strategies in place to make sure that the issues are addressed. To begin with, the hospital has made sure that it has identified the source of the problems. This is in a bid for it to make sure that it has a source and a good foundation to begin its addressing of the issues. It has done by putting a survey team in place. This team is responsible for conducting surveys (Coxx, 2013). The surveys are in many forms including interviews, questionnaires or through suggestion box submissions. By doing this, it is able to collect as much information that is needed to help it identify the points of weakness. After the identification process, the hospital has gone forth by implementing the changes with emphasis being placed on serious issues first, for instance, the issue of good working environment. The hospital also makes a follow up to make sure that what is done is what proposed. Apart from this, the hospital can also include health workers in decision and policy making. This is important in making sure that their concerns and opinions are well represented and included in the companies regulations.
